Montafon Alpine Trophy Schruns-Tschagguns, Austria - 04 untill 06 June 2010 (June) (at)

The Montafon Alpine Trophy offers a program that will suit everybody. Teams can choose to arrive on Thursday or on Friday. For the teams that arrive on Thursday, the first matches of the tournament will take place on Friday morning after which time the players are free to enjoy the Aktivpark Montafon with activities like swimming, mountain biking, climbing and indoor hockey. In the evening a welcome and official opening of the tournament will take place. Saturday will be a day filled with football, especially for those teams that arrived on Friday. In the evening there will be a reception for the teamleaders and the participants can enjoy a party at the Aktivpark. The finals and some classification matches will be played on Sunday morning and the tournament will end quite early in the afternoon with the prize giving ceremony straight after the finals. Teams will then have plenty of time on Sunday afternoon to start their journey home.

As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions such as are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitalbe for sports groups, are they safe and are the management fliexible. Kletterpark Kälbersee - Kletterpark Kälbersee is an amusement park that offers everything you could possibly think of that has to do with mountain climbing. The park is suitable for adults and children from 7 years and older. Safety is guaranteed by the qualified Montafon mountain guides. More information: www.hochjoch.com

Aktivpark Montafon - The Aktivpark Montafon is Vorarlbergs largest amusement park. It offers numerous facilities that can be enjoyed every day, in all weather conditions. For example: a swimming pool, mountain bikes, boating pond, skater park, tennis courts, bungee trampoline and a junior cart circuit. Each participant will receive a number of vouchers for free use of the facilities at the Aktivpark and some of the activities are also free. Tournament participants will also benefit from 50% off mountain bike hire and free entry intothe Alpenbad Montafon open-air swimming pool. More information: www.aktivpark-montafon.at

Golmis Forschungspad - By taking the Golmerbahn you can get to one of the most beautiful walking areas in the Rätikon with breath taking panorama views on the mountain tops of Verwall and Rätikon. The Golmisch Forschungspfad is a 3.5 km hike, ‘guided’ by the Murmertier Golmi that educates everyone, both young and old, about the flora and fauna in the mountains. More information: www.golm.at

Montafon - Schruns and Tschagguns are situated in the Alpental Montafon that is surrounded by the impressive mountaintops of Rätikon, Silvretta and Verwall. The highest top is the Piz Buin at 3,312 metres. The region of Montafon is a very popular holiday destination, in summer as well as during the winter. The mountains can be admired by 62 lifts. The Montafon Silvretta Card gives free access to them as well as to swimming pools and museums in the region and it also gives discounts on other activities. More information: www.montafon.at

Schrunss/Tschagguns - The towns of Schrunss/Tschagguns and Vadans are situated in Vorarlberg in the most western part of Austria. Schruns (3.900 inhabitants) and Tschagguns (2.600 inhabitants) are surrounded by the mountain ranges of Verwall and Rätikon. The towns and it surroundings have a varied tourist offer including the Hochjochbahn, sporting areas, a hiking trail system and the Aktivpark. More information: www.schruns-tschagguns.at

Alpenbad Montafon - This open air adventure swimming pool complex is the largest in the region and is part of the Aktivpark Montafon. It has a 50m swimming pool, a separate diving pool with 3m and 5m diving tower. There is also, for example, an Adventure pool with Jacuzzi, slow rapids, water fountains and a 70m water slide and double slide. Use of the Alpenbad Montafon open-air swimming pool is free for all participants during their whole stay.

Mini Golf - The Mini Golf course in Schruns is situated near the valley station of the 'Hochjochbahn' gondel, very close to the school and town centre. Use of the Mini Golf is free for all Montafon Alpine Trophy participants.
