Facilities:
The main location is the complex KFC de Zwaluw Wiemismeer in the Genk suburb of Wiemismeer-Zutendaal. This sports park has three large pitches, of which one has a stand, and one small pitch. One has an excellent view of the main pitch from the canteen on the first floor of the clubhouse. Besides the clubhouse there will be a marquee, which is used as tournament dininghall and for several evening activities. About 3 miles away the organiser has at his disposal a second location with 3 grass pitches, clubhouse and changing rooms. Clubs with more teams in different categories will play matches on the same location.
Trophies:
In each category all team finishing in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place will receive a trophy.

Dinners will be served in the tournament dining hall which is located in the marquee on the sportscomplex of KFC de Zwaluw Wiemesmeer. Besides for the evening meals, the marquee will be used for several evening activities.

Genk has plenty to offer with various attractions in the surroundings. In short, the Kempen Cup has everything to make the 17th edition a success. The participants in the tournament will arrive on Thursday and the evening programme has been reserved to receive the team leaders in the clubhouse. The participants can also attend during the open house in the tournament marquee. The tournament will start with the first round matches on Friday. In addition, the organisation has also made it possible to tour the Fenix stadium of top club KRC Genk during the day. More information upon arrival.. On Friday evening, the football pitch will play host to participants who wish to compete for the Penalty Cup. Football is also on the programme on Saturday when the remaining first round games, the league games and the finals will be played. Those who do not get to the finals can visit, for example, the subtropical swimming pool of Hengelhoef Recreation Park. The tournament will be closed with the prize-giving ceremony after the finals.

As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions such as are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitalbe for sports groups, are they safe and are the management fliexible. Hasselt, 12 miles from Genk, with its 68,000 inhabitants, is the pleasant capital of the Belgian province of Limburg (in the east). It's a town for the true 'bon-vivants', while also being an important trade centre and a paradise for shopping tourists. The most well known shopping streets are the Demerstraat and Koning Albertstraat. The centre also features lots of monuments, museums, restaurants, pubs and discos.
By the Way: the public transportation in the centre is free of change.Domein Bokrijk / Genk (3 miles from Genk). Domein Bokrijk is a large open-air recreation park with many leisure possibilities e.g. enormous play ground with slides, play-castle, mini-cars etc. There is also an open-air sport complex with tennis courts, mini-golf and football fields. Funpark Bobbejaanland in Lichtaart, 25 miles from Genk, is one of the most famous theme parks in Belgium with plenty of attractions and shows. Children's land, exciting rides and different multilingual shows, means there is so much to do for every age, A full day is recommended to make a visit worthwhile. Genk, with 63,500 inhabitants is a town in Belgium Limburg around 6 miles from Hasselt. Genk was built on the discovery of rock wool at the start of 1900. The rock wool mines were closed over the 20th Century, but Genk continued to fulfil an important economic role in the region, partly thanks to its favourable position on the Albert canal and on the Leuven-Aachen motorway. Genk is also a beautiful holiday destination because of its rural surroundings.
