The Alsace is a region with a rich cultural tradition, and the participants to the Dreyeckland Trophée will certainly become aware of that. After arrival and check-in in Bartenheim, Friday offers a quiet start until the tournament really kicks off on Saturday, followed by the official opening ceremony in Bartenheim. It is up to the participants to provide the entertainment, having to play at least six matches each. The qualifiers are played on Saturday. The team leaders are expected at the reception on Saturday evening, where they are welcomed by no less than four Mayors. In the meanwhile, the participants can have a good time at the adjacent karting track and bowling alley. The last qualifier matches are played on the second day of the tournament, as well as the ranking matches and finals. Right after the last whistle of the referee, the participants can start preparing for the award ceremony and festive evening in Bartenheim’s sports hall.

As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. Vosges & Mulhouse. (12 miles from Bartenheim). The most southerly part of the Vosges (in the north east of France), is where we find the typical Alsace town of Bartenheim. Nearby is Mulhouse, a city which is home to more than 200,000 people and which offers all the advantages of a city, such as an attractive centre, a fascinating zoo with botanical gardens, La Filature, the new modern arts complex. Not to forget is of course the "national motorcar museum".

Basel: (15 miles from Bartenheim). The former Roman city at the point where Switzerland meets France and Germany, offers a very pretty centre. Visitors are amazed about the hidden treasures in the area behind the main railway station. Here you will find picturesque alleys, lively shopping streets (Freie Strasse area), entertainment, beautiful, centuries old monuments and an impressive cathedral on the Münsterplatz the trademark of the city.

Bartenheim. The most southerly part of the Vosges (in the north east of France), is where we find the typical Alsace town of Bartenheim. Bartenheim has about 3,000 inhabitants.

Musée Nationale de l'Automobile in Mulhouse(20 km from Bartenheim). This national motorcar museum shows the fantastic collection of the brothers Schlumpf. This collection counts more than 500 cars, from the Bugatti, Rolls Royce to the Mercedes etc. The museum shows the history of the car from 1878 through the present. And of course you can see cars, hundreds of them. From Maseratis to Lotuses, from MPV’s to race cars. You may get behind the wheel of most of the cars.
